Kid’s Activities; The Tidal Wave

Listen to Kid’s Activities; The Tidal Wave HERE

It’s starting. Can you feel it? Back to school is here. And with it comes the start of all the kid’s activities. The summer fun is coming to a close. No more beach days. The end of late night bonfires and fireflies. No more sleeping in. No more deciding one the fly what to do with your day. It is time to get back to our routines. From soccer, to ballet, to swim, football, drama clubs, piano lessons, home school co-op, field trips, and all the others are starting. It can feel so overwhelming.

Today, we discussed how much is too much. We are in the middle of it all with you. I’m not sure we have it all figured out yet. Every year, we reassess if what we are doing is enough or too much. How many nights a week is a good amount to be out of the house? Which activities add value to our kids’ lives? Or is it just making everything harder while adding nothing?

It can be very stressful figuring out which activities, how many activities, and how often we should do those activities. I hope our podcast today will give you some insight to help you decide too.

We talked about a couple other kids topics HERE and HERE. Please go give them a listen and send us your feed back. We would love to hear from you.
