December Fun

Listen to December Fun HERE

These are salt dough ornaments Lauren made with her kids the other day. Be on the look out for those tomorrow. This is another great December activity.

December is a busy month but it is also filled with an abundance of downtime. With the kids’ Christmas break there is extra time in most people’s schedules. We discussed some December fun you can have with the kids.

We tried to pick a few activities that you can do at home when the weather is gross outside. There’s nothing quite like a movie marathon on a blustery cold day. It makes the house feel so warm and cozy to snuggle up on the couch with your favorite sticky little people. They’ll be extra sticky if you decorate cookies first. Haha!

We also chose a few activities for if the walls are starting to close in. After a few days at home, it starts to feel like all the kids do is fight. And you haven’t seen anyone but the people you live with for weeks and weeks and weeks. It is nice to get out of the house and see other people for a few hours.

We hope this episode will help you find ways to use this extra time with your family. Making memories that last a lifetime are what make this time of year so special.

Have you heard our episode on helping your kids feel gratitude. Listen to that HERE

Make sure and listen on Wednesday. We’re going to talk about some of the topics we’ll get into in the new year. As always if you have any show ideas for us please feel free to share them with us at wifestylehustle@gmail.com
