Today, we talked about the importance of building a community of like minded people with whom to do life.
We discussed a few places we’ve found community. If you’re new to an area or haven’t found your niche yet, these would be a good place to start. Our families have moved around a lot and had to start our communities over several times. It isn’t easy but it is worth the effort.
We mentioned a group for young moms called MOPS and their website is HERE. Check out if you have a chapter in your area.
We didn’t mention it in the episode but if you know you’re local to Ellyn, there is a group called Mom’s Club that is similar to MOPS. Amazing organization filled with beautiful women with a heart for moms in need of community. Feel free to reach out if you would like to be connected with it.
